About Ruwais Gaels
The Gaels are a very popular Little GAA club for all abilities and nationalities.
The club has been running for just over five years. There have been both men and women’s teams participating in the Middle East GAA tournaments over the last number of years but in the spirit of keeping the game alive our hopes and dreams are now with our ladies junior B team who are the only team representing us this year.
We are always looking to grow and support our little club and have actually just secured sponsorship for the year ahead which is a great achievement and addition to our club.
We are very proud of our achievements and the hard work of a lot of people connected with the club as we are from arguably the smallest and most isolated area of Abu Dhabi.
This year we just have 13 members registered.
Gaelic football isn’t just a way to keep fit or somewhere to make new friends, it’s a sense of community and a little piece of home which is what brings people together- Leona Kelly, Chairperson
