Middle East GAA e-Book Launched
The Middle East County Board (MECB) are delighted to announce the publication of a new e-Book for Gaelic Games within the region in 2020. The e-Book is free to download and is the culmination of the great work of our PRO, Sarah Forde, alongside the support of our chairperson (Stephen Twomey) and the entire Middle East GAA committee.
Containing over one hundred pages, it features in-depth pieces from the fifteen GAA clubs across the Arabian Gulf, including their history, membership and current activities. The MECB are also thankful to all other groups who contributed to the e-Book, notably our two regional Irish Ambassadors (Mr. Aidan Cronin and Mr. Gerard McCoy) and Mr. Ahmed Younis of the Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce.
