July 24, 2024
The Middle East GAA County Board is delighted to publish our calendar for the 2024/2025 season, beginning in September 2024 and concluding in April 2025.
The Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce Middle East League will see four rounds of adult competition take place in the codes of Ladies’ Football, Men’s Football, Camogie and Hurling. Final standings in the Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce Middle East League will determine team seedings for the Middle East GAA Championship, where all divisions will be divided into Cup and Plate competitions.
In addition to numerous adult events scheduled to take place at club level, Middle East GAA is delighted to feature three juvenile tournaments in the calendar. These events will see multiple underage sections come together from across the Gulf region, ensuring continued development and games opportunity for future generations of Gaelic Games players.
In acknowledgement of the continued development of handball in the Middle East region, our upcoming calendar features four handball tournaments, which will be suitable for beginners and experienced players alike.
Middle East GAA is grateful for the continued and generous support of the Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce, and its Secretary-General and CEO, Ahmad Younis. Established in 1987, the Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce promotes commercial, industrial, tourist and financial relations between Arab countries and the Republic of Ireland.
Middle East GAA and clubs are generously supported by the Global Games Development Fund.
Lastly, we thank O'Neill's for their support as the Official Equipment Partner of the Middle East unit.
