2025 GAA Congress

Middle East GAA was recently represented at GAA Congress in Donegal. A full schedule of engagements over 3 days allowed for opportunities to discuss activities and progress in the region, and to ensure further development. 

On Thursday:
- Presentations regarding each of the World GAA Strategic Focus areas (Coaching & Games Development; PR & Communications; Officer Training; Health & Wellbeing)
- Presentations regarding Capital Grants, Safeguarding, the membership platform Foireann, and Governance
- Presentations from Middle East GAA and each of the overseas units, including Gaelic Games Europe, Australasia Gaelic Games, New York GAA, USGAA, Canada GAA, and Asia GAA. 

On Friday:
- Meeting with twinning partner Leinster GAA
- Finance workshop
- Demographics workshop
- GAA Congress

On Saturday:
- GAA Congress
