Middle East teams named for 2026 GAA World Games

The 2026 World Games will take place in Waterford from July 13-17, with group matches hosted at SETU Arena, West Campus, Carriganore from July 13-16, before the finals move to Walsh Park on Friday, July 17.

Planning is already underway for what will be the fifth edition of the World GAA Games since launching in 2015. More than 2,000 players are expected to compete across 100+ teams in football, hurling, camogie and ladies football. The continued growth of World GAA has seen the organisation expand to more than 560 clubs outside Ireland, helping grow Gaelic games globally.

From a Middle East perspective, five teams will represent the region across Senior Hurling, Senior Camogie, Senior Men’s Football, Senior Ladies Football and International Ladies.

Below are the teams selected to represent the Middle East in Waterford.

 SENIOR HURLING
